Move to Colorado

I originally came to Colorado from Connecticut to go to college, and never left. One reason was because of a band I had joined called ROSEWOOD CANYON. We were an acoustic, harmony-filled band that had a great following in the area. But a small plane crash killed 2 beloved bandmates, and that obviously brought about many changes, including the eventual demise of the group.

Living in CO...

That was a while ago, of course, but I remained in Colorado and pursued music in all its facets, from playing in groups, to writing commercial music beds, to producing, teaching, and everything else in between. Here are a few things:

  • 3 years teaching guitar and 5-string banjo at Denver’s SWALLOW HILL MUSIC

  • 15 years teaching guitar at REGIS UNIVERSITY

  • playing guitar/bass in over 100 different music theatre productions

  • awarded a regional EMMY for writing and recording an original music soundtrack for a DENVER CENTER MEDIA production called “LEGENDS” (of Colorado)

  • producer of “The QUEEN’S MINSTREL” on Windham Hill Records, by

  • Therese Schroeder-Sheker

Onsombley

I also have a fun acoustic guitar quartet called ONSOMBLEY. From wedding ceremonies to concerts, we play a lot of my music along with some classical and jazz. It’s a great sound of blended nylon string guitars and electric bass that’s melodic, rhythmic, and never boring. I couldn’t be more lucky to have such a supportive group of talented players and friends!
