              Scott who?

I consider myself one of the lucky ones.  Lucky in the sense that I still get to

be involved in music for the majority of what it is I do --- and that would include everything from teaching, to playing guitar/bass in music theatre productions, to occasional live band gigs, recording sessions, and everything else in between.

I came to Colorado from Connecticut in 1972 to go to college and never left.

One reason was because of a band I joined called ROSEWOOD CANYON.  We were an acoustic, harmony-filled ”long hair” group that had a reasonable following in Colorado.  We put everything we had into that group, but a small plane crash in 1978 killed 2 beloved bandmates, and that brought about many changes, including the eventual demise of the band.  That was a while ago, but it was the beginning of everything else that’s happened since!!

--- 3 years teaching guitar and 5-string banjo at Denver’s Swallow Hill Music Association,

          ---15 years at Regis University,

--- playing in over 65 music theatre productions, awarded a regional EMMY for an original music

soundtrack, producer of “The QUEEN’S MINSTREL” on Windham Hill Records, writing and recording

assorted commercial spots and....basically, a lot of different things.

But I’m most excited about my books and CDs, and I hope you’ll check out some of my music

          while you’re here.
